Antelope Squirrel. This in an early piece I discovered in a nature book of Almost Extinct Creatures. I had never seen such a tiny squirrel and felt I could make a lovely homage to him. His belly has a very playful and free form design reminiscent of Art Nuevo designs, acknowledging the playfulness of this little creature.
